Arrive by 4:30 so you have plenty of time to park and find your seat. Getting an Uber/Lyft will make it easier for you.

Cocktail Hour + Reception

Both the Ceremony and Reception will be indoor. Cocktail Hour will be in the courtyard, weather permitting. Dinner, drinks, and dancing in the grand ballroom.

The Mansion is located in a crowded area near UT campus, and it will be a busy day in Austin, between a UT game and a demonstration going on downtown, so our best advice is to arrive by 4:30pm so you have plenty of time to park. The mansion has plenty of comfortable parlor space to hang out if you arrive early 🙂

Your best options for parking are as follows.

1) Take an Uber or Lyft for the most stress-free experience and get dropped off right at the main doors. 🙂

3) There is street parking scattered around the venue. See 22 1/2 st, 23rd st, and leon st. Check the signs.

4) There is a free parking garage monitored by the venue located underneath an apartment building. The entrance is in an alley between Leon and Longwood st. This is a great option, with plenty of spots, but is a short walk (.2mi) to the front doors of the venue.

Rachel and Josh first met at a mixer event for Christian singles that took place at Central Machine Works. Rachel spotted Josh early on, but was not brave enough to make an approach. As the event was winding down, Josh was on his way out the door and one of Rachel's friends decided to play wingwoman and stopped him. Josh chatted with the three girls for a while before Rachel's friends peeled off and Josh and Rachel were left alone to talk for a few minutes. Rachel asked for Josh's number and they went on their way. A first date led to many more over the following months and the rest is history.
